Cosplay policy
This is an 18+ convention so lewd costumes are encouraged!
These rules apply to WITHIN the bounds of the convention space only–please keep your clothing street-legal when not inside the convention space!

- No bare feet on the con floor (for photos and programming participants it is ok)
- Please keep genitals covered (thongs/jockstraps are okay).
- Plug tails can be used as long as they can be worn with a thong and do not expose genitalia.
- Certain spaces/events may allow partial nudity–they will be specifically designated. Please see our map below for the designate convention space.
- Nipples may be exposed for all genders WITHIN the bounds of the convention space that is NOT also shared with common hotel space.
- Costumes should not include any unsafe or unsanitary elements.
- Costumes should not have any elements that could get on other people or property (such as slime or unsealed body paint).
- Fake genitalia that is obviously fake, such as tentacle dildos, brightly-colored strap-ons, etc. may be worn or carried around WITHIN the designated event space. This does NOT include the pool area. You may NOT dress inappropriately or have lewd or sexual outfits or props by the swimming pool or other areas shared by hotel guests who are not attendees of Hentai Matsuri. This includes the lobby, the hallways, the gym, etc. Use common sense, and if there are children around, do NOT conduct yourself or dress in a way that would be immoral, inappropriate, or illegal.
- No element of a costume should imply discrimination, racism, or hate speech.
- All weapons and props must adhere to the weapons policy.
- Costumes must be self-contained and not need any external support or utilities (e.g. hotel electricity)
